Two small values, both kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us: rb-theme remembers whether you chose the day or night display, and rb-consent remembers your answer to the cookie question so you are not asked twice. Neither identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes both.

Nothing you type into the trainer leaves your browser. Questions are generated locally, your answers are checked locally, and your score exists only in the page you are looking at. Close the tab and it is gone. We could not tell you your own results if you asked.

Questions are spoken by the speech engine already built into your own device, through the browser's Web Speech API. No audio is streamed from this site, and the text of a question is not sent to any server in order to be read aloud.

If you allow it, we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets its own cookies and processes your IP address, which we ask Google to truncate. We use it to learn whether the guides are useful, not to identify anyone.

If you decline, it is not loaded at all.

If you allow it, we show advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies to measure and personalise those adverts. Google's own description of how it uses data from sites that use its services is published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you decline, no advertising script is loaded.

Some pages may link to paid preparation products. Where a link is an affiliate link, we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we write: the guides describe what is publicly reported about each assessment, and a product is mentioned only where it is genuinely relevant.

The site is served from a server in Germany. Like any web server it necessarily processes your IP address in order to send you the page. We do not keep an access log for this site.

You can change your cookie answer at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the question back. You can block cookies entirely in your browser settings — the trainer works fully without them, apart from remembering your display preference.

If you are in the UK or EU and want to ask what we hold about you, the honest answer is that we hold nothing that identifies you. For anything else, write to inquiry@readbackmath.com.

If this policy changes materially, the date below changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not collect email addresses.
